Mimi's Famous Crepes is one of the many restaurants nestled into the long line of shops that line St. George street in St. Augustine. The adorable establishment whisks you away to Paris from the moment you step into the doorway. With blue and white paisley wallpaper that resembles antique blue and white china, a white metal bench full of swirling designs, and a makeshift window constructed out of a TV surrounded by puffy, cornflower blue drapes looks out out to the Eiffel Tower, Mimi's feels a bit like your grandmother Amélie's home.

The number one selling crepe at Mimi's is the Nutella & Strawberry filled with, as the title suggests, Nutella and strawberries. Upon cutting into this powdered sugar sprinkled masterpiece, nutella oozes out. The combination of the warm nutella and firmly juicy strawberries inside the fluffy eggy crepe reminds you of the taste of chocolate fondue.
The Bacon & Brie is one of the best sellers on the savory side of the menu. While it does not have the same appeal to the eyes as the Nutella & Strawberry, the taste of the crumbled bacon, gooey brie cheese, leafy arugula, and firm tomatoes matches the description of resembling a BLT.
To pass the time while waiting for of of these delicious crepes, there is a beautiful garden out back full of colorful flowers and greenery and fit with green, metal tables and chairs accented with swirling design similar to the white bench in the storefront. The sounds of construction overpower any music that might be playing, but it is peaceful all the same. A slight breeze passes through the alley every once in a while giving a small break from the Florida heat that cannot be escaped even under an umbrella.

St George street's quick pace reflects itself in the black foam plates and black plastic cutlery completing the crepes on the go climate of Mimi's. For guests who do not stop to enjoy their crepe in the garden or ordered more yumminess than they can consume, Mimi offers triangle togo boxes, perfect for crepes, with their logo on the top.
The family run business named Mimi's after the store owner's late grandmother who inspired the shop with her deliciously famous crepes and the peaceful, colorful and happy design with her personality.
Mimi's sources the fruits and vegetables used in their from local farmers to give the freshest taste possible.
